7 Free Social Media Marketing Tools (which should not be free)
The social media marketing niche is full of hype and pipers Dopes hope. Every day I receive a "product launch" e-mails urging the latest Wordpress plugin, software or app marketing system, promising great traffic or close-the-day-job ROI.
If you've been around (the scene of internet marketing) for a few months you'll know what I'm talking about. I'm at the point where I'm more interested in how the product is marketed the product as it is.
I settled for some (mostly free) web 2.0 tools that make my job as a social media marketing.
So, shut up and tell them already, right? Got it ...
Video Syndication
The big gun video presentation is, of course, Traffic Geyser. This is a great service and, in addition to take hours to configure and to be priced on the high end, it works very well to get you and your stupid videos plastered all over the web. However, recently I stumbled upon a free video presentation called TubeMogul, which I like quite well, thank you very much.
TubeMogul allows automatic delivery to 12 major video sites all at once. The interface is super simple. It allows you to add a title, description, category tags and setting the video to you. And you can upload as many videos as you want for nada (free!).
Check it out TubeMogul.com.
SOCIAL MEDIA Sending and Bookmarking
Some of the new people are confused here, so let me briefly explain ... Social media marketing requires a lot of "presentation". One of the pillars are submitting your post (your story, your article whatever you call your own content) to a social media site.
There are really 2 types of sites to post the presentation. There are social bookmarking sites like del.icio.us and Technorati that just want to send a link first and tag. There is not much to vote, or browsing of these "bookmarks" in the course after submission.
Then there are social news sites like Digg and Propeller. These sites want your links and tags too, but you'll also need to provide a good description of the post and hope that other rate up.
Thus, with the middle one ... At the freebie.
I used some of the tools out there to send the payment automatically to both social bookmarking sites and social news sites, and in my opinion, the free tool to SocialMarker.com works better than all of them. Just enter your postal details, check out the sites you want to submit and the arrow through the comments. "It 'was easy!"
KEYWORD SEARCH
Yes, I'm still searching for keywords, I think it's important to keep track of your main keywords and look up topics of new variants. I use the free tool from service giant called Keyword Discovery keyword. The free tool works great for bloggers who are not building PPC campaigns 10,000 words.
IMAGE EDITING
By far, the service that I use most is picnik.com. I always have to crop, resize, fix, etc. the images that I need to use. This online editor is quick and easy.
VIDEO CAPTURE AND ASSEMBLY
Well, this may be a little 'advanced new people, but only when you are ready to stick your toes in the pool video, here are a couple of free tools that you need.
First, you need a good screen capture software. I like the tools TechSmith, Camtasia is (V3 is free at this time) or JingProject.
Once you capture the screen of fantasy Jumpcut.com then head back up and start editing. This is a fantastic free online editing software that should cost a lot of money.
So, that's it ...
The list is long, but believe me, these free tools will get you in your efforts faaar social media marketing.
You can try a lot of other similar free marketing software, tools and systems, there is an infinite number of them that's for sure.
This is what worked (and continues to work) for me. Have fun! ......
