Twelve Ways to Make Your Business Failing as a freelance translator

If you think of things like: "This business would be perfect if not for all those annoying customers?, This is your article. If you want to get rid of them, follow some of the points below and you'll show you a memorable success as a freelance failed. Really derail your job as a freelance translator is not difficult. In fact, you could find dozens of ways to avoid working from home and without spending money. 1. Expect customers to come to you You are a translator, right? So customers have to find you. You have no website or email, or put banners, no ads on the Internet, or salt in the yellow pages, why? If you want customers, you are, as they want, but you find them, do not expose yourself. 2. Take the delivery date as a vague suggestion. If you meet delivery dates is fine, but if you can not, do not worry. You know the phrase "fashionably late? It was invented by a freelancer who never delivered on time translations. 3. Take time to answer customers why respond immediately to customers requesting a budget or you want to send their projects, when you can do it tomorrow or next week?

It is best to keep you waiting, nay, the higher the timeout, it will be easier to fail your business. 4. Do not pick up the phone or return calls A potential client calls you on the phone. Why pick up the phone? You have better things to do than answer, let it ring! Or better yet, turn off your answering machine so you do not have to bother to return the calls.

5. Do not give the customer the service that you know better than to engage your customer, you're cooler than you like it and it sure is much better than his, so, although the client will hire you to translate a given British English text, you decide, your free will, an American version. Also, do not argue or show him your opinion, you just do it. You will be happier and your client will have a better text. 6. Show your emotions as you appear. If you are angry, even if you're visiting a client or talking to him on the phone (and you failed to meet point 4), show it to your client. And if you're angry with him because he does not listen (and failed to meet the point 5), does not make sense beware the anger, reveal just as you come and stay calm. 7. Do your chores. It does not deliver work on time (see point 2). Run errands, go to the purchase, making the bed, pick up the kitchen, smoke a cigarette, it's all much more important, everything has to be done but you have given the customer a delivery date and already accomplished.

Or is that your clients will be more important than you? 8. Move the level of your favorite video game Mmmmm. Your favorite video game is waiting in the lounge. That level brings you the possible path of bitterness and you have to pass. It will take hours, days, weeks, spend a certain game. Do it, is the easiest way to fail as a freelance translator. 9. Watch TV While many people say "is that during the day there is nothing on TV?. Lie. Turn on the TV and zapping in the search for this program that will fill the morning hours in front of the television. There are programs in the morning and think. 10. Spend time with your hobby and if you do not choose one that has nothing to do with your translator profile and enjoy it all the time you leave the point 7, 8 and 9. Even the time you should devote to your clients. 11. And when you're tired, lie down. It does up to a thousand or retire early, or throw a big nap. Anyway, the thing is sleep. Spend all day yet spend your hobby or your favorite video game is very tired.

Rest. 12. Take charge of a language that is not your forte. You translator of English, German, Portuguese and Italian. Who cares that the job you handle it in French? You are able to do so and if not, you will find a colleague who does.
